Mission Statement

With an emphasis on Black, Indigenous, Person of Color communities and womxn (and identifying), Sommer Camp Productions, LLC. focuses on telling the most overlooked stories with Oregon and horror as the common backdrop. We lead with encouragement, compassion, and understanding, which motivating the crew and the talent to deliver excellence. Our work entertains but will most notably reveal a common lesson and cultivates a culture of thought-provoking art and complex storytelling.

As an Indigo child, I was quiet, reflective, and highly empathetic--and often mislabeled as shy. The truth was, I found it challenging to navigate a world where my personality was not represented. In response, I spent many evenings secluded in my family room, connecting to TV, seeking an understanding of self.
